In our 12 weeks together, we’ll move through three distinct phases, each lasting four weeks and designed to progressively build your strength, mobility, and endurance. You’ll learn how to work out correctly to add muscle in ways that genuinely support your changing body, giving you confidence in your ability to move with purpose and ease.
Alongside physical training, understanding nutrition is key. Together, we’ll uncover the best ways to eat to support hormonal health and maintain insulin sensitivity—a crucial factor as we enter menopause, when decreased estrogen can lead to a heightened risk of insulin resistance. I’ll help you navigate this time with confidence by sharing tailored insights on nutrition that fuels your energy and hormonal balance.
Prioritizing Self-Care & Reducing Stress
Weekly habits are woven into each phase, encouraging you to put yourself first without guilt. Small, actionable steps, like prioritizing sleep/recovery and practicing stress-reducing techniques, become part of your daily routine. Even quick, five-minute breathing exercises can work wonders in helping you feel grounded and centered, no matter how busy life gets.

Who Is the Face of Kuhlebody?
Allow me to introduce myself
My name is Sharon and I created KuhleBody, a health coaching site for menopausal/post menopausal women .
Before I share a little about me, I'd like to start off by telling you the story behind the name KUHLEBODY.
I have to say that finding a domain you love is no easy task these days. Everything I wanted was either taken or someone was charging thousands of dollars for it! The idea of paying more for a domain than a mortgage on a house is ridiculous! I persevered and got creative. My intuition told me to look at foreign languages, so I did and then I experienced "Divine Inspiration." I swear, this was a magical moment because I knew and felt deep in my gut that I had at last (after a year) found my domain. Naming a website is a lot like a dating. Eventually, you will find the right one.
The word KUHLE comes from the South African Zulu tribe and means GOOD, BEAUTIFUL, FAVORABLE and FINE. The name, KuhleBody best expresses my philosophy: When you have your health, you feel good from the inside, and as a result, that radiates beauty on the outside. Plus, the word KUHLE is pronounced just like COOL which makes it memorable and fun :-)
I've been working in the health and fitness industry for over two decades and one of the most important aspects of any business is a growth mindset so you keep learning. Even if you enjoy what you do and have a high level of skills, you still need to evolve and have new challenges. No one knows exactly how things will unfold, but you can notice the signs, have faith in God and trust you will be lead exactly where you need to be.
Well, I did notice the signs and found myself working with a greater number of women over forty-five. Many saw me as a role model, since I'm in that age bracket and that I practice what I preach. This population is now the main focus of my work in fitness and now in health coaching .
A late bloomer, I got married at forty and became pregnant at forty-two (no drugs). The pregnancy was easy and I had a normal delivery that resulted in a healthy baby girl at the age of forty-three. I worked out during the entire pregnancy lifting weights and walking on the treadmill. Within six weeks or so, my body bounced back to pre-baby weight and shape.
Enter peri-menopause. My menstrual cycles became more sporadic and I began to experience hot flashes and night sweats here and there. I like to call it middle age adolescence, but without the pimples. Even though it's a temporary transition, I wanted to learn more about hormonal wellness to improve my own as well as the women I work with. I became a certified health and nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition, and took additional courses to deepen my knowledge about perimenopause through post menopause.
I discovered the transformative power of a whole-foods, organic diet, combined with regular exercise, meditation, and reducing exposure to environmental toxins. Building strong relationships and nurturing my spiritual connection have also been essential to my journey. While lifestyle changes are crucial, I believe that faith in God and a deeper sense of purpose provide unwavering inner strength.
Armed with education, years of experience, both professionally and in life, I created KuhleBody.com. This site is dedicated to helping menopausal and post-menopausal women learn the best practices to be metabolically healthy, fit and empowered, as they embark on this new journey in their lives.
